Egypt is home to the oldest university in existence, Al-Azhar. This 10th century institution is a source of great pride to Muslims. Muslim tourists often remark about the fact that Muslim scholars have been drawn to this teaching institution for centuries.
Egypt has a long history of maintaining a complete society. Even ancient Romans traveled as tourists to Egypt to view the wonders that are still available to us today. The land of the Pharaohs and the pyramids of Giza have fascinated world travelers for centuries. Today, we can easily hop on a jet airplane and be in Egypt in a matter of hours. Yet the sights of Egypt are so incredible that centuries ago, tourists traveled for months, even years, just to see these same sights.

The civilization of Egypt dates back to antiquity. But its relics and several other features have been attracting people for centuries. I have visited Egypt two times already and want to go there for at least10 times more.
